Description:
Develops clinical and/or non-clinical assays for screening of protein targets and compound testing. May oversee screening operations, including scheduling, assay performance and data flow. Develops and generates data for biomarker and biological characterization assays including cell based, multiplexed protein assays, PCR, and flow cytometry methods. Develops biochemical assays for lead validation and optimization for disease-related targets. Emphasis may be development of biochemical assays for High Throughput Screening (HTS). May work with manufacturing and quality control to develop tests, as well as analyze and report results. Prepares technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses. Maintains familiarity with current scientific literature. Contributes to project process within scientific discipline(s). Uses professional concepts in accordance with company objectives to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways.
